The Traces project by an artist and tattooist Tyna Majczuk is a combination of performance, Japanese sumi-e ink painting and the process of creating a tattoo - from the idea to the completion of the project. The tattoo in Majczuk's project perpetuates what seems to be fleeting - the trace that remains after establishing a relationship with another human being. Tattoo is a fixer and at the same time a testimony of past events leaving an emotional trace in the memory. The protagonists of the performance are living works of art, and the tattoo with which they have been marked makes sure that their meeting will not be forgotten, but has permanently changed them both in the spiritual and physical aspect. The performers were connected by a symbolic tattoo pattern of an abstract form - a kind of unofficial act of bonding.

Projekt Traces artystki i tatuatorki Tyny Majczuk to połączenie performansu, japońskiego malarstwa tuszem sumi-e i procesu powstawania tatuażu - od pomysłu do ukończenia projektu.Tatuaż w projekcie Majczuk utrwala to, co wydaje się ulotne - ślad jaki zostaje po nawiązaniu relacji z innym człowiekiem. Tatuaż to utrwalacz, a jednocześnie świadectwo minionych zdarzeń zostawiających w pamięci emocjonalny ślad. Bohaterowie performansu to żywe dzieła sztuki, a tatuaż, którym zostali naznaczani sprawia, że ich spotkanie nie zostanie zapomniane, ale trwale zmieniło ich zarówno w aspekcie duchowym, jak i fizycznym. Performerzy zostali połączeni symbolicznym wzorem tatuażu o abstrakcyjnej formie - swoistym nieurzędowym aktem więzi.
